Test results to determine feasibility amalgamating multiple manufacturers’ into one Le Mans GT1 1/32 slot car class using only Ninco tires and NC1 and NC8 motors, excepting Fly front motor configurations that were tested with their OEM 18,000 RPM Mabuchi. Post testing discussions indicate that the aftermarket Jack Rabbit motor is a fair choice exclusively in Fly front motor cars for parity with NC1/NC8 inline configurations. All were tested without magnets. The Ninco cars were all as originally equipped except those that came with NC2 or NC5 were retro-fitted with NC1 or NC8.
SCX F40 retains its OEM RX motor, which is “Version One” state of performance, but with Ninco 20×11 tires on its OEM rear wheels.
Slot.it F40 fitted with Ninco NC8 motor and Ninco 20.5 x 11.5 tires on its OEM rear wheels and the Slot.it body was weighted under interior pod for parity with the heaviest Ninco bodies..
Fly Capri retained its OEM Mabuchi motor, but rear axle assembly was replaced with that of Ninco Porche GT1 and ballast allowed to balance the front motor weight.
Fly Corvette retained its OEM Mabuchi motor, but fitted with 20.5 x 11.5 rear tires and ballast allowed to balance the front motor weight.
Testing was continued until consistent repeatability was attained.
